Kalooki 51 - Basic Strategy at a Glance

As a humble beginner you must be conscious of the confidentiality while playing any sort of card game, as it is the most significant thing to memorize specifically while you are playing Kalooki –51.

Never allow your opponent to identify your card until the last minute.

Watch your opponents every moves carefully and try to observe which cards they actually discard. Such observation will further help you to discard the right card of your own and obviously not allowing the opponents to take advantage of such card or cards.

And as the initial meld requires reaching 51, so aim to pick up high value cards in the early stage of the game but don’t hold them till the end of the game.

Concentrate on the jokers as they can help you to win. Just make proper use of them.

While discarding, try to retain such cards those might help you to form runs and sets later on.

Be opportunist and look for chance to pick up cards from the discard pile and use them properly to build.

And the most important strategy for the beginners that before your initial meld, simply draw from the stockpile, as the opponent will not allow you to reach 51 if they come across of the value of your cards.
